Sustained by God’s love through prayer and worship, we commit to be a welcoming, caring and ministering Christian community.
To live this vision, we will:
WORSHIP God in the Anglican tradition with beauty, reverence, and creativity;
PROVIDE a welcoming, caring and pastoral community;
NURTURE the spiritual development of individuals through prayer and education;
EXERCISE responsible stewardship;
REACH OUT in Christ’s name, to those in need through service and advocacy;
RENEW the role of the Cathedral as the mother church of the Diocese;
DEVELOP our relationship with civic authorities and other faith communities;
CONTINUE to be a centre for music and other arts in Victoria; and
SUPPORT Christ Church Cathedral School as a Christian school in the Anglican tradition
